Our dream
Driven by passion and extensive experience, we are a devoted couple of professional sailors with deep roots in the Arctic and marine science. After years of sharing a common dream, it has finally come to life — our own sailboat, and with it, the beginning of our adventure
Our Tilvera
Tilvera is an ancient, profound Icelandic word that stands for “ our existence”, “our presence”.
Tilvera is a wonderful steel ketch built in the Netherlands and originally owned by Heinz Wutschke & Greet Dekker.
In 2023 we took, over and the legacy of the boat continues…
She is very strong and capable to sail in all kind of weathers and oceans. She has been sailing for more than twenty years around the world , including both poles and eight times in Antarctica proving that she is totally seaworthy and made for adventures.
