Not all expeditions are defined by where they go – some are defined by what they become. This is The Arctic Howl

Where Purpose Meets Exploration
In 2024 and 2025, we had the privilege of supporting and being part of a meaningful filming project documenting Ocean Missions’ first scientific journey into the Svalbard Hope Spot – a place of profound beauty, yet increasing vulnerability, with many stories waiting to be told.

Witnessing a Changing Arctic
Throughout this expedition, a group of scientists, biologists, filmmakers, and conservation professionals came together with a clear vision. Together, they observed ecosystems under pressure and shared firsthand insights into the forces shaping this fragile region. From shifting ice patterns to the growing impact of human activity – including plastic pollution and fisheries –the Arctic is changing, and not quietly.
The Arctic Howl captures these moments, but it also demostrate what happens when the right people come together in the right place, with the freedom to explore, study, document, and learn from one another. At times, we may feel small or lonely protecting what we care about, but when we come together, as passionate, experts and like-minded people, we become an unstoppable force – collective impact and real fun!

From Experience to Responsibility
When we truly experience the Arctic, our perceptions evolve into ideas, and ideas into action. Action grounded in lived experience, guided by the evidence of a melting Arctic, and strengthened by a deep and instant human connection to a polar world.
This project contributes to a vital and ongoing dialogue about protecting fragile marine ecosystems and recognizing the responsibility we all share in safeguarding them. The Arctic may feel remote, but its future is closely tied to our own.

Co-creating experiences that turn knowledge into action
We are proud to be part of this mission , serving as both a platform and a source of inspiration for meaningful projects, organizing expeditions, and co-creating experiences that turn knowledge into action.
This documentary is still under production but you can already watch and share the trailer!
